Strength and Movement Coach
I strongly believe that exercise and movement are crucial tools for anyone wanting to achieve an improved well-being. My own introduction to the world of physical fitness had a significant positive impact on my health, my confidence and my outlook on life. One of my favorite things about my job is the opportunity I have to pay this attitude forward. I’ve dedicated hundreds of hours working 1:1 with my clients to help them achieve improved strength, mobility and overall wellness. My sessions emphasize integrating breath and alignment into basic everyday movement patterns as well as teaching the fundamentals of strength training. in addition I specialize in pre/postnatal exercise, using my extensive knowledge of core and pelvic floor health to help my clients prepare for a healthy pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
My credentials include a BA in International Studies from UCSD, a personal training certification from the American Council on Exercise, a specialization in pre/postnatal exercise, and a specialization in mobility and movement from Kelly Starrett’s Mobility WOD. When I’m not training clients I’m usually cooking with my bf, taking an aerial arts class, listening to My Favorite Murder 9get it on) or trying to figure out how to become the worlds first and best stay-at-home cat mom.
